沖縄の宮古〜那覇線にスカイマークが参入で石垣〜那覇間も安く飛べるように？
沖縄情報を一つ書きます。
2011年9月15日より宮古〜那覇線にスカイマークが参入で同区間の航空運賃が一気に格安となりますが、結果的に、石垣〜那覇間も安く飛べるようになるようです。
どういう場合に安いかといえば、「特定便割引28」の発売期限である28日前を過ぎたら、たとえ、石垣〜那覇間の移動でも「石垣〜宮古線」とスカイマークの「宮古〜那覇線」を乗り継ぐ事で、割引を使用して安く移動する事が可能です。
・JAL 日本航空(JTA、RACの空席照会と予約可能)
スカイマークでは数日後には値下げされている場合も多々ありますが、例えば、2011/10/2(日)発の場合各区間ごとで下記の普通・割引運賃となっています。
(表記例 SKY:スカイマーク、ANA:全日空、JTA:日本トランスオーシャン航空、RAC:琉球エアーコミューター)
「石垣〜宮古線」(RAC)
・普通運賃で大人11,900円
・特定便割引(前日まで購入可能)適用で大人9,400円
「宮古〜那覇線」
SKYの運賃
・普通運賃で大人7,500円
・前割1(前日まで購入可能)適用で大人4,800円
・前割5(5日前まで購入可能)適用で大人3,800円
・WEB割21(21日前まで購入可能)適用で大人2,800円
ANA、JTA、RACの場合
・普通運賃で大人17,500円
・特定便割引(前日まで購入可能)適用で最安便が大人4,200円
・特定便割引28(28日前まで購入可能)適用で最安便が大人3,800円
「石垣〜那覇間」(JTA、ANA)
・普通運賃で大人23,000円
・特定便割引(前日まで購入可能)適用で大人16,300円
・特定便割引28(28日前まで購入可能)適用で最安便が大人9,100円
これを元にして、搭乗日までの日数別に計算すると、

搭乗日の28日前までなら、
・「石垣〜那覇間」(JTA、ANA)
特定便割引28で9,100円(最安便)
合計：9,100円が最安料金
ーーーーーー
搭乗日の21日前なら、乗り継ぎをする事で、
・「石垣〜宮古線」(RAC)
特定便割引(前日まで購入可能)適用で大人9,400円
・「宮古〜那覇線」(SKY)
WEB割21(21日前まで購入可能)適用で2,800円
合計：12,200円が最安料金
※直行便だと特定便割引(前日まで購入可能)適用で16,300円

搭乗日の前日なら、乗り継ぎをする事で、
・「石垣〜宮古線」(RAC)
特定便割引(前日まで購入可能)適用で大人9,400円
・「宮古〜那覇線」(JTA、RAC)
・特定便割引(前日まで購入可能)適用で最安便が大人4,200円
・「宮古〜那覇線」(SKY)
前割1(前日まで購入可能)適用で4,800円
合計：13,600円が最安料金
※直行便だと特定便割引(前日まで購入可能)適用で16,300円

搭乗日の当日なら、乗り継ぎをする事で、
・「石垣〜宮古線」(RAC)
普通運賃で大人11,900円
・「宮古〜那覇線」(SKY)
普通運賃で7,500円
合計：19,400円が最安料金
※直行便だと普通運賃で23,000円

というふうになります。
従来の料金に対して、あまりにもスカイマークの料金が安いための直行便よりも安くなる逆転現象ですが、それだけ「宮古〜那覇線」の料金が割高であった証拠なのかもしれません。
なお、2013年にはスカイマークが「石垣〜那覇線」にも新規参入を表明しているため、その時には逆に「宮古〜石垣間」の移動で「宮古→那覇→石垣」と乗り継ぐ方が安いなんていう状況に変わるのかもしれませんね。
数年前までは那覇〜宮古、石垣間を結ぶ定期旅客船が複数就航していたため、安さならそちらが良かったのですが、現在は航空路線しか定期路線は無いため、個人的には、これで、今までより先島諸島まで行きやすくなったかなと感じています。
